6 rooms telling their own tales<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Those same rooms where Antonino Cannavacciuolo spent his childhood are now refined guest rooms at the resort. Each one tells a story of the people who in the past left their own legacy at the manor house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c<\/em>La stanza della Nonna\u201c<\/em> (Grandmother\u2019s Room), with its \u201cAsiago peach rose\u201d marble bathroom, smells of memories and lavender. On the other hand, \u201cLa stanza del tuttofare\u201d (The Handyman\u2019s Room) tucks away here and there replicas of tools the man used to take care of the house. More eccentric in style is \u201cLa stanza dello Zio Matto\u201d (The Mad Uncle\u2019s Room), which proudly displays all the memorabilia he kept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLa stanza del Curato\u201d (The Parish Priest\u2019s Room), with its rose-hued \u201cCalacatta Statuario\u201d marble bathroom and crystal glasses, embodies all the grandeur and class of the person who stayed there. Much more cozy, \u201cLa stanza di Annarella\u201d (Annarella\u2019s room), with its navy blue tones and old Olivetti typewriter. Intimate and modern, located at the highest point of the resort, \u201cLa stanza di Marina\u201d (Marina\u2019s Room), who always had a thin cigarette between her fingers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Laqua Countryside not only chronicles the childhood of Antonino Cannavacciuolo and the past of many others, but also of the present full of passions. The entire struc ture embodies the ties to the territory and tradition, starting with the materials used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The walls are made of limestone, gathered when cleaning the grounds following old Campanian peasant traditions. The flooring inside also embraces tradition, this time from ancient Rome, as it is made using the cocciopesto <\/em>technique (a sort of natural plaster made with crushed pottery and brick). Adding an even more homey touch are sculptures made by Andrea Cannavacciuolo, the Chef\u2019s father. Take a look at this vibrant collection on the main staircase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
